Localização: O Hostel está localizado na rua Plaza Independencia 713 na cidade de Montevidéu, em frente ao mausoléu do Gral. Artigas e a casa do Governo, na famosa Praça Independencia. O prédio do hostel foi construído no final do século XlX e combina a arquitetura histórica com um reciclado moderno e um especial cuidado do valor da antiguidade, em uma localização privilegiada e única em Montevidéu.

Hostel muito bem localizado na cidade de Montevideu, com boa estrutura e pessoal competente e gentil.

- AMAZING Location!!! Right in the city center (Plaza Independencia). Staff was great as the other Che Lagarto I stayed in(Buenos Aires). Im touring South America for biz and its great to have somewhat standarized hostels... im picking Che Lagarto for my stay in Brazil as well.

- nice colonial hostel in the center of the city. no need to walk from the terminal the bus stop is right in front of the hostel. breakfast is with fruits and hot milk. nice bar and kitchen...

- Great staff, amaizing location. i like all the hostels of che lagarto i love that hostel!

- Bettwäsche und Handtücher jeden Tag frisch! Badezimmer für ein Hostel sehr sauber. Frühstück gut, schlicht aber lecker. Nachts ruhig. Schönes Haus mitten im Stadtzentrum.

- muy bueno el servicio, estuve 2 dias porque estaba de pasada para ir al carnaval en la pedrera, rocha y la atencion fue excelente. lo recomiendo 100%. la ubicacion muy buena con locomoción para todo montevideo

- Me gusto mucho el hostel che lagarto, cumplio tadas mis expectativas que buscaba, lugar centrico para descubrir esa bonita ciudad, y que decir que esta en un lugar precioso, un ambiente jobial alegre y desde luego me dieron una acojida muy calida me gusto mucho el trato muy agradable de sus trabajadores, me orgnizaron todo ,excursiones, visitas, fiestas, una gozada. Tienen unas instalaciones muy buenas con varios ambientes, y donde puedes elegir estar descansando o pasar un rato charlando,o incluso algo de fiesta, que mas decir la comida excelente y muy limpio, gracias lo pasamos muy bien.

Very nice and tidy, good rooms. Everybody has his/her own locker in the room, good free internet. Nice bathroom! Very, very good location, close to all the touristic attractions.

Its a quite authentic looking hostel in the centre of montevideo, i think a better location could not be found here. cleanliness is good, you see cleaners walking here a lot of times of the day. the people who work here are kind and help you with everything.

This is already my second time in this hostel! I found the staff even friendlier and more informative that made my stay much easier than before! This hostel is in the historical building and the owner is making it very cozy! I really recommend travelers to accommodate here because its location is at the best spot in the city that will facilite your trip! I will return to Montevideo again this end of year and Che Lagarto Hostel will still be my first choice!

Hola chicos de Che Lagarto, me complace llenar esta encuesta pues así puedo expresar lo bien que me hicieron sentir en el hostel, yo viaje sola a Uruguay y al llegar a Che Lagarto me sentí como en familia, son uds muy amables y super buenos anfitriones, me gustó todo del hostel y si vuelvo a viajar a Uruguay, Argentina, Brasil o Chile volveré a hospedarme ahi, además de recomendarlo con mis conocidos, gracias por su linda hospitalidad.

He estado en varios che lagarto ( Montevideo, El Calafate y Santiago de Chile ) y de todos me he llevado una muy buena experiencia. El staff siempre ha sido efectivo y amable. De echo repetire en Peru y Brasil. Siempre se puede mejorar pero vosotros lo haceis muy bien. Seguid asi. Un saludo
