Location: We are located just 400 meters of the incredible beach of Copacabana, one of the most visited by tourists. We are located in one of the classical neighbourhoods of Brazil, surrounded by elegant restaurants and bars, as well as beautiful nightlife and the amazing landscape from the “carioca” beaches.

Our Suites in Copacabana

The New Che Lagarto Suites is the best place for people who want to combine the comfort of a hotel in a private room, with all the fun of a hostel. All rooms are private, with a double bed for couples or two single beds for friends that prefer to have their own room. Some rooms can have an extra bed for USD 20. All suites have been recently remodelled, some have private baths and the rest have shared baths. Rooms comes with and without air conditioning and sommier`s beds , depending on the category. (Categories “comfort” have private bath, and categories “upper” have private bath and air conditioning). INGLES

• Only private rooms
• Breakfast (coffee, tea, chocolate, water, juices, sponge cake, bread, jelly, butter, seasonal fruits, cereals and toast) buffet style
• Cleaning , sheets and towels (only private rooms)
• Nights activities in the hostel (Only Friday)

Professionally run hostel, relatively small, 10 minutes walk back from Copacabana beach. Nice for wandering around Copa, but we found we spent a lot of time in Ipanema and Leblon. Night and weekend staff were great, very helpful. Good substitute for a hotel, but very few of the usual hostel facilities (or we didn´t get told about them).

Great place to stay in Rio, nice neighborhood, and a bit of a walk to the beach- but not too far. Good service and good community with easy access to tours and nightly events.

have travelled all over the world. Isabel and Vicente in Copa Cobana are two of the friendliest/most helpful receptionists I have ever come in contact with. They both certainly deserve a raise because they are generating alot of new business by giving Che Lagarto a very good name with the work they are doing~~I have already recommended several of my friends to stay at Che Lagarto..

Quería comentar que los empleados de recepción en Río (che lagarto suites) fueron excelentes tanto en efectividad como en amabilidad, en cambio los de isla grande fueron efectivos pero estuvieron muy lejos de ser amables.

The receptionist named Vincent at Copacabana Suites was awesome. He was really friendly and extremely helpful. He made our stay as good as it was.

Los felicito, han hecho un gran trabajo en la consolidación de la marca. Muy agradable la estadía, muy serviciales y hospitalarios los gtes y el staff, y vale la pena mejorar la integración de los huespedes.
